Freight or Property Claim

To avoid delay in processing your claim, please attach the appropriate documents detailing the shipment information and how the claimed amount has been calculated:

• All associated invoices - including but not limited to: manufacturer's, wholesale, or original invoices to support the  cost of the claim 
• Consignee's copy of freight bill bearing loss or damage notation 
• Pictures illustrating both the condition of the freight and the  condition of the packaging, if applicable 
• Itemized repair bill, if applicable
• NMFC MUST be listed on the BOL 

In the event that the carrier is unable to meet its obligations due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: Strikes or Lockouts, Labor Shortages or Disturbances (including those caused by pandemics), Acts of God, Fires, Accidents, Floods, Severe Storms, Wars, Riots, Acts of Governmental Authority, and Acts of or Omissions of Third Parties, including US/Canadian customs, the performance obligations of carrier affected by the Force Majeure condition shall be suspended to that extent for the duration of such event; provided, however, that carrier shall make all reasonable efforts to continue to meet its obligations during the duration of the Force Majeure condition. When the carrier declares Force Majeure, the carrier shall notify the shipper when Force Majeure exists, the nature of the Force Majeure, and when the condition is terminated.
